Hi Mike,
Cornerstone should be validated automatically once you validated your X Theme.
Please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.I also tried to login on your FTP but without success.
Can you confirm if the credentials above are correct?
Thanks
Joao

FTP credentials did not work. Can you confirm that your x|theme folder is named x? Cornerstone will only ask for validation if the site is not on X|theme or you rename the X folder and CS did not recognise it.
Thanks.

That is hapenning because your installation is incorrect.
you have an x folder inside x folder.
You don“t need those folders: licensing and extensions.
So instead of having x > x you should move the x in the subfolder to the position of the first?
That way X and Cornerstone will communicate properly and Cornerstone will validate
Hope that is clear.
Let us know if you need further help.

July 19, 2016 at 10:53 am #1093729Now we are getting that Cornerstone cannot be activated and generated a critical error

July 19, 2016 at 11:14 am #1093758Hi There,
Please do the following:
1. Revoke your API key from X Addons section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.
https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/
2. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.
3. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)
4. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.
5. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Would you mind updating your X theme and Cornerstone first? And please disable any cache plugin or feature while you’re updating and testing.
Thanks!
