I am trying to add my social media icons and its links to the navigation menu. I have followed several articles however cannot seem to get the results i want. First, i realize that i have to create a menu item and then add in the code <i class=”x-icon x-icon-twitter-square” data-x-icon=”” ></i> to the naviation label.
THis works, however because i have to select a page to link to the menu item, my social media icon does not work correctly.
I just want to add all my social media icons and have them link to where they need to go without having it link to another page within my site like what it is requiring.

Instead of adding a new item as a page, try adding it as a Custom Link so that you can specify the link where the item leads to.
thanks. i found that out. it works. but how do i get the icons to line up in a row? i have 4 social icons and want to line them up from left to right exactly like how it is on the top bar.
