Hello, I’m trying to add a widget area in cornerstone that includes a custom sidebar that I created.
I created a custom sidebar called MENU.

I have also tried to add my menu to a standard widget area that I’m not using (Like header 1).. Despite that there are widgets in Header 1, it is still is grayed out and says “No widgets specified.”I’m hoping this is a simple fix but I’m really stuck on it. Thanks!

Thanks for writing in!
I’ve checked your site and it looks like you are using older version of Cornerstone i.e. 1.0.9. Please update your Cornerstone to the latest version i.e. 1.0.11 and see if the issue resolves.
Thank you!
December 15, 2015 at 8:28 am #707522I made the update and cleared the cache.
I also deactivated other plugins and reinstalled WordPress (from the dashboard-updates screen).
I tried adding another sidebar “test” and putting more widgets in it…this new sidebar didn’t work either.
Neither of these new sidebars are being pulled from either the widget element in Cornerstone, or the edit widget area in the customizer.
Is there a setting I’m missing? I appreciate your help! Thanks

Thanks for writing back. Could you please re-install the X and Cornerstone and activate the parent theme?
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers!
