Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by Email Forms (MailChimp) extensions. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You can utilize the Contact Form 7 instead.

As this sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. I am not asking about a third party extension my original question was about adding a phone number to the X Theme mail chimp extension. I don’t understand why I can create a form on the mailchimp website that supports phone number input but I am in able to do so with the X Theme mail chimp extension.
Please help, my client is very adamant about having a phone number input spot.

Sorry for the confusion. We already confirmed that this is not possible with X theme’s mailchimp extension. And then you asked about Contact form 7 integrated with Mailchimp which we also replied that you may use a 3rd party plugin. However since Contact Form 7 and Mailchimmp is a 3rd party plugin, we regret to say that we can not give your further assistance.
