This should be a feature in the plugin and the Cornerstone item. We need to be able to add an excerpt and also limit the length of this easily. I’ve read through this, tried a few solutions provided and gave up. This should be defined as a FAQ or something easy to read. I’m not the only one who needs this feature. How do we do it in cornerstone? What are the steps, tested and true so we don’t have to wade through this!?
November 20, 2015 at 11:20 pm #673862Hi There,
We certainly appreciate the feedback! This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
Thanks!

XJanuary 14, 2016 at 2:15 pm #746345Where would this element ” [recent_posts enable_excerpt=”true” ] ” be activated in the cornerstone tool?
January 14, 2016 at 6:33 pm #746670Hi,
You can copy and paste the code in a raw content element.
[recent_posts enable_excerpt="true" ]

February 4, 2016 at 8:19 am #779864I have the function working, and its another easy add-on, thanks. I am having an issue, the image size for the post is larger than my featured image, is there a way to fit the area for appropriately? Thanks.
February 4, 2016 at 4:45 pm #780565Hi There,
Thanks for writing in! But, at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
Thanks!
