hmmmmmm damn. Thanks for your help Rick but i’m not sure if that’ll cut it because i have to do it on a bunch of sites. It might be too time consuming and hard to explain to customers.
…Unless we can come up with a global fix or some code that I can directly put in the short code. There’s gotta be something. I wonder if there’s something on the contact form 7 forum. I’m sure they get that request a lot.
December 31, 2015 at 8:46 pm #727277Hi there,
Yes, you can try contacting CF7 author for additional idea. Though, I think it’s WordPress doing to clean up contents including extra spaces.
Thanks.

whats up staffI seemed to have found a decent solution. What do you guys know about this code….
<pre> and </pre>
?It allowed me to add double spaces but it also puts a grey background color behind the content of that area. Kind of looks nice actually but just curious why? Maybe I could add some css to change it back to white?
thanks peeps happy new year!

January 1, 2016 at 3:46 pm #727880I gotta leave that info out but give it a try. I don’t know how to change the color though. Adding styles in CF7 seems tough.
thanks!
January 1, 2016 at 4:13 pm #727909Hi Scott,
It depends on the ID or classes of the CF7 element that you want to style. If you can share us the URL of your site, we would be able to assist you further with this.
Thank you.
