i purchased theme x and am using the correct code but slider revolution is not activating. thanks.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! You don’t need a license key to use revolution slider plugin that ships with X theme. For more information, please refer (https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-revolution-slider/).
