    Hi,

I’m having trouble activating revolution slider which is bundled with the X theme. It says it should be activated automatically since it was bundled with the theme but it will not activate. Since it will not activate I can not update the plugin nor download templates. I’ve tried my purchase code from X theme and that does not work.

    Please help.

    Thank you.

    Hi There,

The credentials you provided above did not work. Anyways the version of Revolution Slider that is bundle with the latest X|Theme is v5.3.1.5. If you don’t have that version, please deactivate and delete your Revolution Slider, then re-install it from the Addons > Extensions. That should install the Revolution Slider that is bundled with X and won’t ask for validation.

You don’t need to register the bundled RS. The plugin functions 100% without license registration.

So rather than updating directly via the Plugin developers automatic updater, that update is included in a X update.

We always try and upgrade as soon as possible when a new plugin release is made to ensure our customers are using the latest version. This isn’t always possible for example if we submit a update to Envato and our update is in review while a new plugin version comes out, that version would have to wait for our next update.

If a plugin includes any major fixes, for example a security issue, or a plugin breaking bug that prevents all functionality we update right away.

If a plugin update just includes minor bug fixes or improvements, then generally we wait to bundle that version until our planned update is ready to come out.

    Hope this shed some lights.

    Cheers!
