    Hi

Two helpful things where i’ve missed.

    – Is it possible to add the shortcuts within the Text-Editor? (current, its only in the visible editor)

    – Instead dozends of icons (with slow tooltips), its faster and with more overview, when you place one button “X-Shortcuts” there and this open a simple dropdown-selection with text. I’ve used expo18-theme and this was soooooo handy… take a look: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oclcajgombulry5/shortcut_sample_expo18.jpg

    Only a suggestion… 🙂

    Best regards
    Michael

    Michael,

We are currently working on two improvements in this area. 🙂

    1. We are implementing a page builder as it has been widely requested. This will allow users to utilize our shortcodes in a more visual manner, enabling them to create more complex layouts with ease.

    2. We are working on a new version of the shortcodes plugin that will be similar to what you have suggested. We always knew from the beginning that we didn’t plan to leave the shortcodes like this, but you have to ship your product and get it out the door at some point. It was a functional v1.0 for us, but we will always be working to improve and make the user experience better.

Additionally, depending on how the shortcodes are implemented (e.g. the way you mentioned in your example), these are typically only available in the Visual editor, as are the other TinyMCE buttons.

Hopefully this answers your questions! Let us know if you need anything else.

And as always, thank you for your feedback. It is invaluable to us. 🙂

Wow, you are incredible fast! Thank you for the great response.

BTW: Your forum should have a search-feature.. 😉

    Michael,

We’ll make sure to look into that as soon as we have some time.

    Thanks!
