lbdesignParticipantOn my web host, which is a2hosting.com, I cannot install ANY of the awesome X Addons unless I disable the “A2 Optimized” plugins which are automatically installed by A2 to improve site speed and security. They consist of a customized W3 Total Cache, and a custom security plugin. Are you aware of this? So essentially, I have to “drop my shields” at A2 in order to install a new component.

ChristianModeratorHey there,
I recommend you disable the plugin when you’re developing the site. Activate it when you finish everything.
Thanks.

lbdesignParticipantThanks. I did temporarily disable their security in order to grab the plugins. But you realize that asking a webmaster to turn off security for days or weeks at a time is not ideal, right? 🙂
Their security plugins are based on very popular free plugins, so I’m assuming this could be an issue for Themeco customers on more than just this one host. Just trying to help you improve the product for all.

LelyModeratorHi There,
I have forwarded this to our developer to take into consideration. We will let you know once we have an update.
