EricParticipantHi Guys!
I have the one page menu set up on our home page which works great and there a couple of secondary pages with a main menu using the full url. The menu takes you back to the main page but does not scroll down to the #x-content-band -1, 2, 3, etc..
Is there something I am missing?

Thanks!

JadeModeratorHi there,
There seems to be an issue with the SSL of your site.
Kindly sort it out as this might be causing it.
Let us know how it goes.

EricParticipantI’m in the process of renewing the SSL. That’s not causing the issue.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! When setting up a one page navigation menu, you will need two sets of menu. One menu will be for the primary menu and the second one is exclusively for the one page menu. In your one page nav menu, you can have #x-content-band-{IDs}. On the other hand, you have to have the full url of the content in your primary menu such as http://example.com/#x-content-band-{IDs} so that when you are in single post or other page, you will still be linked to the correct content band as you click on the menu link.
Hope this make sense.

EricParticipantRue Nel,
Did you read what I said in my original post?

JoaoModeratorHi Eric,
Would you mind trying to add an ID name for each section instead for example ID: my-section-1 and linking to #my-section-1 instead of #x-content-band-1 ?
Let us know how it goes,
Joao

EricParticipantHi Joao,
Thanks for your reply. Would you mind telling me where to add an ID name? I can’t open the home page in visual composer as it messes up the page and I have to use short codes to create this page.
Here is a content block from this page. Where/ how would I add the ID.
[content_band no_margin=”true” bg_color=”#db6925″ border=”all” inner_container=”true” padding_top=”25px” padding_bottom=”45px”]
[custom_headline type=”center” style=”color:#ffffff” level=”h1″ looks_like=”h2″ accent=”true”][icon type=”phone”] Seen Enough? Get in Touch.[/custom_headline]
<div class=”get_in_touch_container”>
[gravityform id=”1″ title=”false” description=”false”]
<p style=”color: #ffffff;”>* We promise, No spam.</p>
</div>
[/content_band]Thanks again for your help!

Rue NelModeratorHello Eric,
Thanks for updating in! After carefully investigating your menu, it is not working because you have inserted invalid anchor links. You have inserted this: http://simplelogicweb.com/#x-content_band-1 which in fact you should need to insert this: http://simplelogicweb.com/#x-content-band-1

kindly edit your menu and make sure to correct the anchor links. It needs to be
http://simplelogicweb.com/#x-content-band-{#}Please let us know how it goes.

EricParticipantIt’s always the smallest things!
I changed them. Thank you!
The only one that doesn’t work is the ABOUT link, it stays on the same page, but scrolls to the first content band. All the others work. I doubled checked the URL and it is right. https://simplelogicweb.com/competitive-analysis/

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for providing the information. Regretfully it seems that the given credentials is not working for us. Meanwhile, please edit your menu and make sure you have
https://simplelogicweb.com/#x-content-band-1as your link. Currently you just have this:http://simplelogicweb.com/#x-content-band-1. Having http where you are using https is a big difference.Hope this helps.

jQuery(function($){ $('body:not(.home) .x-navbar .x-nav a').on('click', function(){ window.location = $(this).attr('href'); }); });Please check the page in question now.
