How can I set 8 columns in a row? I tried choosing column layout as custom and 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 but that had no effect.

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully the maximum column you can add in Cornerstone Row settings is up to 5 columns only. With custom columns, you can only insert
1/4 + 1/2 + 1/4
or1/5 + 3/5 + 1/5
. Adding1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8
will have no effect because the maximum columns is up to 5 columns only. What we can recommend is to nest columns inside a column. Nesting columns wouldn’t be permitted either in Cornerstone. To do that, you can use one column or two columns in a row and use a block grid in each of the column in order to achieve 8 columns.For more detailed information on how you can nest columns, please check out this video:

February 9, 2016 at 5:22 am #786900Thanks! But that certainly makes things harder. Can you take this as a feature request? I think up to 10 columns are fairly common in grid layouts these days. In fact, I have seen quite a few 12 column layouts too. 5 is an arbitrarily and grossly low limit.
