I can no longer edit RevSlider slides. I can access “Slider Settings” but when I click on a particular slider to edit nothing happens and eventually I get a 502 timeout. I’ve cleared caches and uninstalled other plugins, without any effect.
WordPress login creds can be found in the thread here.
Thanks in advance.
June 30, 2016 at 6:27 am #1066550Hello Gee,
We’re sorry you’re having this issue.
Would you mind checking in with your hosting provider about this issue? Ask for error logs. Do let us know how this goes.June 30, 2016 at 6:53 am #1066574I’ve spoken to wpengine (hosting provider), and logs show there’s an issue with the plugin (domain has been edited)

I’ve re-uploaded the plugin, but am still having the same issue.
Please advise.
June 30, 2016 at 9:51 am #1066778Hey there,
Please try purging the cache and resetting file permission (see attachment) and check again.
Thanks.
June 30, 2016 at 10:00 am #1066791Done. Still not working.
Please advise. Should I contact ThemePunch support directly? If so, is there a procedure in place since the plugin comes free with X?
June 30, 2016 at 1:04 pm #1067059Hi There,
Please Export your Sliders to be extra safe.
Step 1 – Go the the Revolution Slider tab in your WP Admin, and open the slider you’d like to export.
Step 2 – Switch to the Slider Settings tab on the top of the page.
Step 3 – On the right, you will find the ‘Import / Export / Replace’ dropdown. Click it to expand the tab and view the options.
Step 4 – Switch to the Export tab, and click the Export Slider button.
Step 5 – Once it’s finished downloading, you will receive a .ZIP file of your slider.
Uninstall Revolution Slider and Install it again by going to Wp Admin Dashboard > Addons.
Thanks
Joao
July 6, 2016 at 7:04 am #1074617I wasn’t able to archive the existing sliders, since I couldn’t even access the Slider Revolution tab.
Since I wasn’t getting anywhere, I did the following:
Deleted the plugin,
Cleared cache
Reset all file CHMOD permissions on the server
Re-installed Slider Revolution.Result: plugin access is really slow, but at least it’s working.
Thanks,
July 6, 2016 at 7:55 am #1074681Please try contacting WP Engine if they could see error logs that might lead to discovering the cause of Slider Revolution issues.
Thanks.
July 6, 2016 at 8:54 am #1074788I’ve done that already – please see log report earlier in the thread.
July 6, 2016 at 10:10 am #1074903I’ve logged in to your site and I was able to access Slider Revolution fairly fast. Please try clearing your browser history and check again.
Thanks.
July 6, 2016 at 10:14 am #1074915The plugin seems to load faster on some other sites I manage, all using the same host. But if you think that the speed is what you’d expect to see, that’s fine.
Thanks again for your help.
July 6, 2016 at 3:15 pm #1075327You’re welcome Gee!
Cheers!
