Mr.alrikssonParticipantHi,
When I try to create a page with the URL /404/ or /404-sida/ it forces to add -2 in the URL structure. This is common when you already have an existing page with that name. But I don’t and the database is cleared nothing named like that. But when I use the English word page it works fine. /404-page/.
I think there is something in the theme that already have a 404 page or? I installed your custom 404 plugin to show my recently created 404-page.
Thanks

ChristianModeratorHey there,
X doesn’t add pages out of the box. Please check your trashed pages is you have created those pages previously.
Please also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Thanks.

LelyModeratorHi There,
Can you clarify which issue is not yet solved? I maybe we missed something here. I did read from above and can’t identify which is the issue.

Mr.alrikssonParticipantThe issue with XML sitemap was forced to the 404 page.
Following task is not solved yet:

ChristianModeratorI see that -2 is added when you create a 404 page. X does not have a function that will affect the page slug though. To know if X is causing the issue, please switch to a different theme and test if the issue persists. If it does then X is not causing the issue and this might be a problem with your WordPress setup. If the issue persists after switching the theme, please keep all third party plugins disabled and we’ll continue to investigate.
If this could not be done since it’s a live site, copy your site over to a staging server and give us access.
Thanks.
