I went into the General Settings to change my temporary URL. I cannot access WP-ADMIN page.
The URL for my site is http://designahookah.comWhen I went into my settings, I deleted the “dir” at the end of the temporary URL http://designahookah.com/dir,
I believe. While the page was loading I then got the message:“Not Found
The requested URL /wp-admin was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
I now cannot get back into the admin area to fix this or to get back to work on my site.
Please help.
Thank you in advance.
June 17, 2014 at 3:10 pm #57490Hi Roger,
You have to access your wordpress database directly from your server to edit the site_url and home_url under wp_options table
there’s no way you can fix it without accessing your database, you can ask assistance from your hosting server company on how to edit your database and fix wordpress URL issue.
Cheers
