Usability issue:
The scroll bar in the new Customizer CSS edit window is too narrow, your mouse slips away from it far too easily which makes scrolling kind of painful. In the next realease, please add a couple of pixels..
Do appreciate the new code highlight editor though, but would perhaps have chosen a different background color for the window.

You can try expanding your custom css window so that you can easily scroll it on the very right side of your window. You can also use mouse wheel so that you can easily scroll the window.
In regards to the different color of the background, I will forward this concern to our developer as a feature request. This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
