    DEAR SUPPORT,

    1) Visual Composer Configuration problems
    I am having numerous other issues with Visual Composer not working correctly.

    1a) In the Design Options settings the Border color will not stay as I select on some of the Elements.
    1b) None of the Design Options seem to work in Text Blocks.
    1c) Several of the Elements go missing when I disable the X Integration of Visual Composer. And if I Enable the Integration, then none of the Design Options are available.

    2) Can’t get X–Shortcodes to activate
    I am wondering if the some of the problem has to do with the X – Shortcodes” not being able to activate. Try as I might, I click on Activate to activate the “X – Shortcodes” which informs me that “This plugin is required to run X as it includes all of our shortcode functionality, which is tightly integrated into the theme.” but it will not activate.

    How can these bugs/problems be fixed?

    Hi there,

    It’s normal and intentional when X integration is enabled, new elements will be added, existing elements will be modified, and some elements will be deleted. That’s part of compatibility integration. Some of it may not work, and some may but could be faulty, hence, they are disabled.

    It’s been like that since the early versions of X, we only added an option to disable X integration so user could decide if they wish to use X elements within visual composer (with few adjustments) or just use visual composer purely as is.
