Hello,
I am a complete beginner and I am struggling with implementing the Content Band Short Code. I would like to place text over a full width image. I have tried inputting the shortcode in the Cornerstone Custom CSS and have been unsuccessful. Is this where you place shortcodes? Thank you for your help and time!

First of all I would like you to wish you good luck on your endevours as a beginner, I know from personal experience things are not easy sometimes, but when times time comes, we will be here for you, so please just contact us in order that we can help you whenever you are facing problems or have questions.
You can add shortcodes to your RAW Element, but you don´t need to use content band shortcodes in Cornerstone.
Would you mind providing an Example of what you are trying to achieve?
If you want to have a background image with a text on top. I recommend you adding a background image to your section in Cornerstone and than adding a Custom Headline on the section.

Thank you very much for your reply. Just to confirm, when you say “you can add shortcodes to your RAW element” are you referring to the visual and text editor in the pages tab in wordpress?
I was trying to have achieve something similar to the https://theme.co homepage that has a full-width image with text on it. Thank you for your help and time!
Hi there,
There is an element called “Raw Content” which designed to contain shortcode or raw HTML/JS etc. Joao was referring that so that you can place the shortcode within the element in Cornerstone. You can also use “Text Element” as well.
And to achieve something like the above link, you can just set a background image to a section and place Text Element or Custom Headline and a button within the section. It should be simple, let’s try.
