Hi Guys,

I wanted to find out a bit more how X displays breadcrumbs.
I have read that breadcrumbs may helps SEO because of improved site navigation.
My two questions would be:
1. Do you support Yoast Breadcrumbs plugin?
2. How do I make Category show in X’s breadcrumbs?

#1 Yoast is a third party plugin and We can’t tell you if it’s fully compatible with X.

#2 Because this requires a template change, I’d advise that you setup a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.

Hi there,

Thank you for the support. I am currently running X Child Theme so it’s all good. Unfortunately, after inserting the code provided into functions.php, I did not see any changes. Is there anything else I could do?

Thanks for updating. The above code should work. Would you provide an exact link to a category page? Make sure it’s category page not tag.
