Hi,
I have built a revolution slider (fullscreen) and have the problem that the text not adapt to the resolution. For smartphone or tablet resolution the textsize is the same. i have activated the responsive function. the weird thing is when i resize the browser viewport the text resize also. but when i reload the page i got the old textsize.
you can view the slider on this page.

March 17, 2014 at 12:24 pm #23826Hey Tobias,
Thanks for writing in! How have you happened to setup your text layers in the slider? Did you position them by dragging and dropping them in the preview slide above all your settings, or did you use the alignment setting? We’ve found that using these alignment settings vs. simply dragging and dropping can create issues like this, which is why in all of our demos we manually place our elements (as you can see in our demonstrations all text is resized as expected on tablets and phones). Hopefully that helps you out with your particular situation.
Thanks!

April 24, 2014 at 8:03 pm #36980Hello could anyone go into more detail about solving this problem? I’ve been trying to solve it. Is there a video demonstrating proper ways to create responsive layers in sliders?
April 25, 2014 at 12:22 am #37047Hi Gregory!
Thank you for using the theme!
All you need to do is manually specify the position of the layers on the slider. If you use the drag and drop feature of the revolution slider, it tends to have an issue calculating the actual position of the object inside the slider. Edit the slides then look for Layer General Parameters, specify the position of the element manually on the Align, Position & Styling section.
Cheers!

The fix was using layer aligment setting, like this http://awesomescreenshot.com/0682psotd0 .
Which upon checking your site, it is correctly aligned.
But your font sizes were too small, then I think you will need to change its style to make it bigger. You could also edit your layer style. Or set “White Space” wrap, or normal.
Hope this helps.

I saw your first slide, and it’s cool. I think you should follow that size. It also responds on screen width. Though button is still small.
Would you mind if you give me a login for that? I just want to check your slider setup.
Thank you.

Upon checking, you were using Revolution Slider’s button. You could try using X shortcode’s button.
Like this :
[button shape="rounded" size="x-large" float="none" info="none" info_place="top" info_trigger="hover" href="#"]Click Me![/button]
This will add extra large button. This shortcode was copied from visual composer’s generated shortcode. And this might help you http://theme.co/x/member/kb/shortcode-walkthrough-button/
And for button shortcode’s color http://theme.co/x/member/kb/implementing-additional-button-colors/
Hope this helps 🙂
June 10, 2014 at 7:20 pm #54708I am also having trouble with over-responsive text in the Revolution Slider. But it is more than that. I’m not sure if I have two conflicting settings at work, but it works fine at desktop-size. As soon as I resize to large tablet size, the slider no longer remains centered, cutting off the right side. Any smaller than that and the text is also illegibly small. I have tried repositioning the elements and playing with the various options and nothing seems to work. Slider is mid-way down the homepage at http://www.chrisrobweeks.com/wordpress under “Our Services”
Any more tricks up your sleeve?
June 10, 2014 at 7:23 pm #54709OK I fixed the centering problem (changed slider layout to Auto Responsive), but the text size still gets very small very fast.
June 10, 2014 at 7:33 pm #54712Ooh I think I got it! If you are having these issues try some of these settings:
Slider Layout: Auto responsive
Unlimited Height: Off
Force Ful Width: Off
Grid Width: % (I have it set to 90% and it works better than when it was a pixel-based value)The only issue I have now is that one title is too long to fit on a mobile, so I will likely bump it to two lines.
