Hi Guys,
I recently installed X Theme on a new client site. I have been having multiple problems. Keep getting Fatal errors: Call to undefined function… see some of the examples below.
I have deactivated Plugins and still received the same issues. If I keep pressing the back button, I can usually get it to function again. I am meeting the client tomorrow and I would greatly appreciate your assistance here.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_edit_posts_query() in /home/mydomainname/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-posts-list-table.php on line 142Fatal error: Call to undefined function enqueue_comment_hotkeys_js() in /home/mydomainname/public_html/wp-admin/post.php on line 170
Fatal error: Call to undefined function seed_csp4_get_options() in /home/mydomainname/public_html/wp-content/plugins/coming-soon/framework/framework.php on line 410
Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_menu_page() in /home/mydomainname/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/framework/base-admin.class.php on line 360

Would you mind specifying where are you seeing the errors you mentioned?
I checked on your site and X is activated and seems to be error free.
September 27, 2016 at 5:07 pm #1193012Hi Jade,
Many thanks for your response.
The errors are intermitting. I could make a change to a page and when I am interchanging between the front-end and back-end, these errors appear.
Unfortunately there is no pattern to these errors.
As you can see from the errors, they are happening.
Any insights to resolve, would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks again.

September 28, 2016 at 1:15 am #1193452Hi there,
Please disable coming soon plugin to solve the issue.
Hope it helps.
September 28, 2016 at 7:59 am #1193852Hi Christopher,
Many thanks for your suggestion. I have disabled the coming soon plugin as per your suggestion. I will see how this goes.
I think that this may not be the issue, as I was getting errors for other plugins before installing this plugin; X-Under Construction and UberMenu. This was why I installed the All in One SEO Plugin, for the under construction capability.
Thanks again.
GerardSeptember 28, 2016 at 8:03 am #1193857Hi Christopher,
I just got another error going from Dashboard to Pages; “Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_menu_page() in /home/mydomainbame/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/framework/base-admin.class.php on line 360”
Is it possible that the version of the Theme got corrupted at some stage during the install?
Would it make sense to delete the theme and get a fresh download from ThemeForest?
Many Thanks.

Gerard.September 29, 2016 at 2:37 am #1195329Hi Gerard,
After reviewing the information provided above, I would try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.
September 29, 2016 at 10:01 am #1195828Thanks Paul,
Will do. There is something very strange going on here.
I will revert when I have an update.
Out of curiosity, I copied the child theme and child functions.php from another one of my sites. Is it possible that this could be contributing to the issue. Both sites are using Integrity.

September 29, 2016 at 11:00 am #1195929Hi Gerard,
The WordPress user that you have created, doesn’t have enough privileges to check your issues. Also when I connected to your FTP account, it doesn’t show any files inside your server.
First of all, please get in touch with your hosting provider and make sure that you’re running PHP 5.6.0 or above to avoid most common incompatibility issues.
Thanks!
September 30, 2016 at 2:55 pm #1197766Hi Darshana,
Apologies for the logon credentials. The error was on my part.
I have changed my PHP settings to PHP 5.6.0. At the moment, everything appears to have settled down. I will update this post in a day or two and let you know how I am getting on, so that others may benefit from the effort gone in, trying to find a solution by all of the above.
Many thanks to all of the team for their inputs and suggestions.
Gerard.
September 30, 2016 at 3:48 pm #1197807Hi Gerard,
Glad it works for you. Let us know if you encounter any other issues.
Thanks!
October 4, 2016 at 6:22 pm #1202636Hi Darshana,
I promised an update to let you know how I got on since updating my PHP Settings from 5.4 native to 5.6.
Delighted to say the Fatal Errors have stopped. So has almost all of the weird things that were happening. In addition to the above, the website is at least twice as fast, as before.
One outstanding issue is Google Maps. I enter the API Key into the Google Maps Element in Cornerstone and usually the Map will not display, if I change any settings. It appears to be very buggy. Maybe this is not related to other issue.
Thanks again for the support.
