Gabriela CParticipantHello,
I’m working on my site and have a question about fade effect:
How to set up fade effect so it shows the elements at 20% of page viewpoint?
Currently it shows very late, so I scroll down the site and the elements fade in at 30 or 40% viewpoint so it seems empty until I scroll more. At first it look like there is no more content. See: http://prntscr.com/bbsx4c
I tried to find the answer here on forum but could not. Thanks

JoaoModeratorHi Gabriela
On Cornerstone just below the button where you turned on the fade effect you can adjust the Offset value and Speed.
If you use a smaller offset value your effect will start before.
Please see img attached
Hope that helps,
Joao

Gabriela CParticipantHello Joao,
Thanks for your message.
I played with offset value and I’ve set it for 10px and then 100px and what it does is that the columns fade from further or closer to the center, so there is more or less “fade” but the fade starts at the same level when I scroll down the page.
What I’m looking for is to be able to see the fade (whatever with 10 or 20 or 50px offset) earlier on the page, not when I scroll it 30% down the page, but when it’s visible in 10-20%.
I would like to see it earlier. Is there a way?Regards,

JoaoModeratorHi Gabriela,
It’s not possible to change the fade animation position as of now. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this.
However, We’ve added this to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
Thanks for understanding.

Gabriela CParticipantOk, yes, please, consider adding this feature. As of now, this is a bit annoying to see 1/3 of my page blank before I further scroll down.
Thanks!June 5, 2016 at 10:23 am #1026684
RupokMemberThanks for your feedback. Your vote has been counted for this.

bastardParticipantHere is a quickfix:
Edit the file cs-body.min.js
Search for “65%” edit to e.g. “85%”

salilouParticipantI use 3 licenses until now and growing, because X is awesome for me as developer and designer.
But the fade effect issue with pages that seem to be empty is quite annoying.
Please make this a part of the next update!
And please post a solution as add_filter or custom js, if this is possible.
If not: is it possible to save the file cs-body.min.js (workaround by bastard) within the x child theme?
Thanks a lot!September 30, 2016 at 2:18 pm #1197712
RadModeratorHi there,
Noted that! Thanks for the feedback.

salilouParticipantMeans: you cannot post a workaround?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
I’m sorry but we can’t provide you with temporary solution. This is something that should be added to our feature requests list.
Thanks for your understanding.
