    I posted before about an issue trying to add simple text to my homepage. If I tried to add more than 3 small paragraphs of text the page would not update. The support staff asked me to delete the “cornerstone” folder using FTP and try reinstalling. I tried this and got the following error:

    Installing Plugin: Cornerstone
    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Plugin installed successfully.

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Cornerstone_Plugin_Base in /home/scuadmin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/utility/plugin-base.php on line 6

    Now I cannot get into the WordPress admin site at all. I get the following error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Cornerstone_Plugin_Base in /home/scuadmin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/utility/plugin-base.php on line 6

    Please help.

    Hi There,

    Please confirm the wp-admin credentials, its throwing us an Invalid username error.

    The error you provide means there are two instances of Cornerstone on /wp-content/plugins/ directory, please delete the other one.

    Hello There,

    We went ahead and moved your cornerstone.old and x-shortcodes.old folders from plugin to wp-contents folder. This is what is causing the issue. You should be able to login to your site now with no issue.

    Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

    The latest version numbers as of this time are: (http://theme.co/changelog/)

    Visual Composer v4.8.1
    Revolution Slider v5.1.4
    X Theme v4.2.2
    Cornerstone v1.0.11
