Craig Allan Teich | FormulaWPParticipantWhat is the easiest way to change the background color of the content area (everything between the header and footer) for a single page? This should be a browser-wide application. Thanks in advance.

CousettMemberThanks for writing in!
In the CSS make sure to find the ID of the page for the home page this is
homefor other pages you can find the ID of the page or post by going to the edit page and looking for the post=”#” for examplehttp://x.hoover.ws/wp-admin/post.php?<strong>post=6608</strong>&action=editmore information on how to locate the ID can be found in this KB article – http://theme.co/x/member/kb/how-to-locate-post-ids/Once you locate the ID add some CSS code under Appearance -> Customize -> Custom -> CSS
body.page-id-6608, .page-id-6608 .x-logobar, .page-id-6608 .x-navbar, .page-id-6608 footer { background-color: red; }Change
6608to the page ID you want to customize. If I misunderstood and you just want the content in the main content are then just use:
body.page-id-6608 { background-color: red; }Change “red” for whatever color you are looking for either in its short name or hex value.
I hope this helps.
