Hello
Forever happy X theme user here.
I am sorry if this topic was already mentioned on this forum, I tried searching for it and I found Cornerstone & Yoast SEO issues (mainly both plugins not working at the same time) but nothing about the blog entries.
After running the Yoast SEO analysis on Blog page, I receive the following errors:
1) The text contains 1 word. This is far below the recommended minimum of 300 words. Add more content that is relevant for the topic.
2) No images appear in this page, consider adding some as appropriate. After trying to find the answer on Yoast forum, I found this:
‘If you’re using a page builder that does not share their content, please contact their development team to request compatibility with the Yoast SEO keyword analysis. They can learn more about this functionality here.’
I imagine that there is no easy solution to that, but I thought that perhaps it’s something you guys can have a look into in the future. I am not only talking about the Blog section, ‘The focus keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy. Make sure the topic is clear immediately’, which appears on every site, is also an issue for a lot of users.
I think that having full compatibility with one of the most popular WordPress plugin would definitely benefit you.
Thanks

X and Cornerstone is compatible are Yoast. You could not use Yoast SEO on a Blog page though since it’s an archive page. Please refer to Yoast SEO documentation to optimize the blog page or any taxonomy page for that matter.
Thanks.
November 3, 2016 at 11:00 am #1242572Hey Christian
Thank you for a fast reply. I have been on the Yoast knowledge base website and I found my problem under ‘Error: The text contains 0 words’ section.
The proposed solution can be found in my first post:
Cause
This is the default message on a page with no content. If you haven’t started writing, this message is correct.
If you have content and see this error, you are likely adding content outside of the default editor. Some plugins and themes, like page builders or visual composers, do not share their content with our analysis feature.
Solution
Add content to the default editor and the word count will update automatically.
If you’re using a page builder that does not share their content, please contact their development team to request compatibility with the Yoast SEO keyword analysis. They can learn more about this functionality here.
Could you direct me please on what exactly I am searching for?
Many Thanks
JackNovember 3, 2016 at 6:03 pm #1243013Hi there,
That means that it only analyze the content within the editor which makes it inaccurate, example, what if the editor contains shortcode? Shortcodes are usually executed when the page loads and not within the editor, the executed shortcode can contain text, images, snippets, and all other data. Since Yoast only analyzes the content within the editor, then that means its analysis could be incorrect. It shouldn’t analyze the editor’s content, but it should analyze the whole page’s final render/output because that’s what search engines will see and not the content of your editor.
If you’ll add content to your editor, that means you’ll also overwrite builder’s content. And since builder’s content are made of the shortcode, it can’t analyze it either.
Unfortunately, with this Yoast limitation, I can’t really provide a solution. Regardless of fixes, it still can’t see it. You should optimize your site how search engine sees it, and now how it sees your editor content.
Thanks!
