X theme style mobile menu in Pro

How can I make a X theme like mobile menu in Pro? A menu that pushes down the content from the top.

Hi Seppe,

Are you using the Navigation Collapsed element in the Pro header? If so, the dropdown is meant to float over the content below it. Changing its native functionality would require some custom code which goes beyond the scope of our support.

I thought Pro was the way to go if you want more customisable options. But it looks like X has features for mobile navigation that Pro does not have.
I don’t understand why plugin/theme developers keep on focusing on desktop navigation when more then 60% of the internet users is on mobile. And this number is stil growing rapidly. There are a lot of menu navigation plugins/builders where you can customise every little detail of your navigation on dekstop, but not for mobile. Same for Pro

In PRO Header builder, there are a number of elements that you could use for mobile menu

Navigation Collapsed
Navigation Dropdown
Navigation Layered
Navigation Modal

The way it works is, you add two elements.

Navigation Inline(for desktop) and Navigation Collapse(for mobile)

Then make the Navigation Inline visible only in desktop and make the Navigation collapse visible only in mobile.

Unfortunately it doesn’t. It looks like there is no way to make a simple push down mobile navigation in Pro. Can’t understand why this is when mobile first for websites is clearly the future and the way to go. In Pro you can build a complete customised navigation exactly the way you want. But it’s only for desktop, not for mobile. It should have been the other way around. Most users are on mobile, not on desktop.

As recommended, you can use these element for mobile

Navigation Collapsed
Navigation Dropdown
Navigation Layered
Navigation Modal

And utilize the Hide During Breakpoints feature for device visibility of the element.

The Pro header builder is intended for development, all content are made and should be made from scratch manually. It’s not a simple implementation similar to X theme where header is generated automatically along with device visibility. Still, mobile menu are still doable in Pro header, except, it doesn’t look the same on X theme’s mobile menu.
