For some reason, the license for X Theme was unregistered from my website. I am trying to fix it, but when I enter the purchase code and press enter, I receive the following message: We’ve checked the code, but it doesn’t appear to be an Cornerstone purchase code or Themeco license. Please double check the code and try again.

Thanks for writing in! The most common issue would be that you’re not using the latest version of X theme & Cornerstone plugin, so that our validation process will not initiate.
You can check the latest version numbers from here (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/), update manually for once (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62) and then try validating your site again.

I believe you’re trying to validate the Cornerstone, but you have a license for X, so yes Cornerstone won’t accept that.
Cornerstone should be free and won’t ask for validation if you’re using X, make sure that you’re using X and not another theme.
If you’re using X and Cornerstone still ask for validation, then its most likely that you renamed the X theme or its x folder, resulting in Cornerstone not recognizing your X theme and treating it as other theme.

Got it. I guess I was confused because it said either a cornerstone code OR a Themeco code.
