Could you please make sure that you’re using X compatible version of plugins including WooCommerce? You can refer to the following resource (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195).
Also you can disable 3rd party plugins which are not listed on our version compatible guide and check for a plugin conflict.

yes all are up to date with latest versions. No other plugins there other than woocomerce and cornstone.

Thank you for the information provided. Your issue is that you’re running an older version of PHP on your server ( v5.2.17) which is causing fatal errors and incompatibility issues with other plugins.
Please ask your hosting provider to update it to at least v5.6.x or later to avoid this issues.
