X Theme 6.3.X breaks WPBakerly layout

Hi,

Searched around for others that are having the same issue and cannot find anything. On ALL my X Theme sites that have older pages built in WPBakerly, by updating X to 6.3 the page layout breaks.

You can see the result here:

Live site with X 6.2.5 : https://www.troypsychotherapy.com
Staging server with all plugins and latest X installed: http://i6u.ea2.myftpupload.com

since i cannot load all links in one post on this forum, i will reply with more info now.

NOTES:
On the staging server, the back end editor is completely borked up. have a look at the screen shot BEFORE the upgrade to X6.3 and after:

Before upgrade: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ph843jsfjip70nf/Screenshot%202018-11-02%2008.12.49.png?dl=0 everything normal

After Upgrade: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ph843jsfjip70nf/Screenshot%202018-11-02%2008.12.49.png?dl=0 - notice how the elements just contain

here is a SS of a Edit window: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jdxj0j7v2m5utk8/Screenshot%202018-11-02%2008.13.52.png?dl=0

To be clear, once we restored our live site once we saw this issue and created the staging server. We upgraded out of date programs (including Bakerly) one by one. All plugins worked perfectly and the site worked perfectly until we upgraded X to 6.3

We cleared cache, tried incognito windows, etc. The issue seems to be the handling of the back end editor and it gets covered to short code within the editor??? Lastly, this happens to ALL my sites with X theme, not just this site above.

let me know if you want access to the staging server? Maybe there is a solution to this that i cannot find.

Current work around is to NOT upgrade X, but over time that may not be an option? Please advise

Adam

Close this thread, the solution popped up on the suggested area, legacy needs to be enabled. duh! what a waste of time, lol

Hi Adam,

Our apologies for the troubles but we’re glad you’re able to get it sorted.

It would also be best to check the Release Notes that we post when there is an update that you can find in the sidebar of APEX under the Pro Logo.

The issue about WPBakery was addressed in the FAQ section of the post above.

Have a nice weekend!
