X Theme 4.1.1

Hi,

I have a client site (without child theme, I know I know) that was built sometime ago. It says latest version of X is 4.1.1 which is obv not correct, with no option to update. I can no longer delete content as the ‘Yep’ ‘Nope’ are you sure, popup is simply not working.

I also cannot update the theme from the dashboard. Help please! Would like to update without losing customisation (no custom code on site)

Thanks for asking.

In your case, you will have to update the theme manually. I suggest you to first take a complete backup of the website and then create a staging server. It’s better to update the website on a staging server so that if issue comes up you can troubleshoot the same without affecting live website. After that I suggest you to carefully take a look at our theme and plugin update guide. Kindly give special attention to Manual Update section:

Thank you, I am a little confused now.

I have updated to Version: 6.0.4 via FTP, and apart from saying Version: 6.0.4 nothing has changed within the backend at all and problem still exists… I am missing something here

Please make sure that you have updated the Cornerstone to most recent version 3.0.4 and let us know how it goes.
