X Pro Update - Custom graphic instead of icon in classic featured list not working

Hi there, Looks like lots of wonderful added controls to the x pro update thanks!
I am however thinking there might be a glitch with the classic featured list.

I want to put a custom icon (graphic) from the media library to the left of my heading. I wasn’t able to do this via the new headline text feature (unless I missed something) and so I thought I could do it via the now classic featured list. It gave me the option in the side customer bar to add an image, however when I do the image is not showing up and there is no way for me to disable the icon (that I can see).

Can you help me find away to achieve my goal? thank you very much.

Hey there,

There is a Graphic Setup option for the new Headline element. Please scroll way down the options and you’ll see this. Once enabled, scroll down again for more options.

The issue with the featured list image sounds like it’s caused by caching or other factors. Please try the following solutions:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

Thanks.

This was very helpful thank you!

Glad to see we managed to help!
