X Editor fails to load if Rev Slider is used too heavily (v2)

Previous thread here: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/x-editor-fails-to-load-if-rev-slider-is-used-too-heavily/67503

We are still experiencing this issue. It seemed partially resolved with the previous suggestion, however the issue is back with this error:

I will add credentials as a secret to this post.

Additional information:

Disabling rev sliders allows this page to load. It definitely seems entirely tied to the number of sliders we’re trying to load on a single page. Reducing the number of sliders isn’t a valid option at this time - we should be able to have as many sliders as we want without breaking the content editor.

When viewing the console in Chrome Dev tools, we see thousands of javascript errors.

Hi @cmopower,

Thank you for writing in, your site seems to be having a security request issue, this could be related to your slider issue. Please fix this first, you can follow the solutions provided here.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Hi there - the server that site is on doesn’t allow loopbacks, but I do know that isn’t the cause of the problem. The same site is hosted on another server that does allow loopbacks, and the same issue persists. I’ll add credentials for that other server in this response.

Hi @cmopower,

Thanks for that confirmation, while I was not able to track what is causing the errors, I did found a workaround (which should what had been done in the first place). In the secure note is a duplicate of your home page, but instead of using the shortcode it uses the Revolution Slider element. The “No Preview Available” in the builder is intentional to avoid script conflict which what is happening on the current homepage.

Have a nice day,
Cheers!
