Wrong URL for images within Cornerstone

Hello,

We’d recently migrated to Dreamhost and when I switch to TEXT from CORNERSTONE I see the wrong URL for some images. The issue that happens is that each time I edit a page there are many images referencing the wrong URL. Each time I update using cornerstone I need to Search&Replace the database with the right URL.

I realize I should not switch to the TEXT mode, but I just wanted to see what showed up.

Hi there,

The Cornerstone uses the home_url() function to determine the root URL of the website.

You should make sure that the Settings > General menu has the updated information. If not you will get old images. In some cases, if you use the migration tools of the hosting service provider they do not change those settings correctly.

I suggest that you migrate the website following the steps below:

Finally, use the Search and Replace plugin to change all references to the old URLs. And you will need to clear your database transient cache using the plugin below:

Hi,

It was an issue with DreamPress. They added an odd url in their server and had never cleared that out. No issue with x-theme.
