I have been using Pro theme for a while and its been working fine. I also use W3 total cache with MaxCDN to maximize website speed and currently have google page speed at 91. recently I received few calls from customers complaining about not getting order confirmation after placing an order through woocommerce checkout page. I thought of giving a test my self as I don’t want to lose business over such issue and after doing some test orders this is what I found:

Upon clicking the place order button, the screen fades and the woocommerce spinning icon does NOT show (there is no indication that something is loading, yet its looks like it froze). but in the background, the order is placed and email is sent to customer.

during one of the test order, it took over 50 seconds and thank you page did not show still.

Sometimes the thank you page showed after 22 seconds.

I tried to place an order with a different theme (storefront woocommerce official theme), the spinning icon showed right after i clicked on “place order” and thank you page showed after 10 seconds, therefore the issue is with Pro theme not any other plugin.
I read before that Pro theme uses default woocommerce templates but if that’s the case then why this issue is fixed upon using storefront theme which also uses default woocommerce templates?
