Will upgrading a website built on ThemeX to Pro mess it up?

The website is already fully built. It has some custom coded areas but everything is working perfectly?

If we upgrade to Pro will it simply offer more editing options?

Will old pages stay as legacy or will they have the same new options too?

Thanks for asking.

Let’s first understand the differences between Pro and X Theme. In a nutshell the primary difference between Pro and X Theme is former comes with Header and Footer builder. Using header and footer builder you can design unique headers and footer inside Pro Theme.

Once you upgrade to Pro theme, old pages will also get the new options and you will be able to assign header and footer.

So just to confirm, all previous, legacy pages should stay the same (build in X or hard coded) and not be effected by the conversion. Only now i’ll have the more detailed page builder options + head/footer options too?

That is correct.

Your older sections will be classic sections, when you add a new section it will be V2 sections and everything you have on your site will still work 100%.
