Widgets not showing

Hi,

I have added a sidebar and assigned it to my woocommerce shop page. The problem is that the woocommerce widgets are not showing up in the sidebar. The sidebar can be seen here:
http://experiencetanzania.se/package/

I would like to add widgets to display product filters etc.

I would also like to know how I can show the sidebar on the single product page.

Hi there,

The page in question is not a Woocommerce shop page. You need to go to Woocommerce > Settings > Products > General > Shop Page and select a page to be the main Shop Page of your website.

Then you can go to Appearance > Sidebars and add a specific sidebar for the Shop Page. For more information:

After that, you will have a new Widget area in Appearance > Widgets that you can assign your desired widgets there.

Hi,

I have already created a new Sidebar which I have assigned to shop page and all other pages I would like it to be displayed.
I have my shop assigned to /packageS and the page I have in the menu called /package is a standard page, I have this setup for testing purposes.

The sidebar is showing up on those pages and some widgets are visible but not the Woocommerce widgets.

Hey @Hugobosss,

The widgets don’t show up because according to the widgets documentation, the widgets will only show up in WooCommerce archive pages such as shop, tag and category. Your page http://experiencetanzania.se/package/ is not an archive page. It’s a page built with the Content Builder.

The Single product page does not have a sidebar by design. Custom development is required for this which is outside the scope of our support because this will be altering the theme’s design.

Did you see that I mentioned that the archive page is http://experiencetanzania.se/packages/ ?
The widgets are not showing up here either.

Do tell me if I am wrong, or if you haven’t seen the archive page yet.

Hi There,

You only have a one product so that some of your widgets not functioning. I have added a test product to your site and the widgets started to function properly.
