Why my elements are classic and have limited option

I know that I could hide them in the X Pro settings, but the classic elements are useful and the advanced elements only have little could be used. Like “recent posts” or “…CTA” and so on. But I watch the tutorial on Youtube that they have a lot of elements and all of them are advanced options. Pls help me. Thx.

Hey Mark,

It looks like you have disabled elements. Please go to Pro > Settings and under Macros enable all V2 elements and click the Apply button. Do the same for Classic Elements. You should see all elements after that.

To enable Advanced Mode, scroll down to User Preferences and in set Advanced Mode to Always On.

If that does not help, please provide us with WordPress admin access in a Secure Note so we could check your setup.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.

I want to check if mine is ok. U could see that from my pic post.
And another question is the classic elements have no advanced control option that make my confused and I do not know the CSS or JS code. So is there any way I could use these elements very convenient.
Really appreciate of your kindly reply.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!
Unfortunately, classic elements don’t have advanced control. that’s why we have V2 elements which have more control over design.
The only way to customize Classic element is custom code (CSS/JS).
You can anyway use V2 elements for advanced design.

Thanks

Thx, and could u recommend some good tutorial about css/js for me, I do not know which is good and easy to learn from youtube. Really appreciate.

Hello @actuatorlinear,

If you would like to learn CSS and JS, I am sharing few resources that you take a look to get started with CSS and an interesting tool that you can use to speed up the development process.

For JS you can take a look at following tutorial

I recommend you to watch following video that will help you to get started with CSS.

Sometimes it can get a bit difficult to find out the right selector to be able to write the required CSS codes. A handy tool that can help you in this is Google Chrome dev tools. I am sharing the resource that you can refer to get started with dev tools.
