Visual composer & essential grid

On this site http://agileofficesystems.co.uk/ the essential grid plugin has created a number of image boxes with hover effects and links. However, these are suddenly no longer working. If you look at the news stories towards the bottom, there should be a blue box with text that appears on hover and then this should provide the link to the news story. Can you please take a look and suggest a solution. I’ve tried disabling plugins but so far I still can’t get it working correctly. I’ve also tried deactivating or purging the cache systems.

Thanks for writing in! Can you please make sure that you’re using the latest X compatible plugin versions by going through this link here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195).

If you’re using any outdated plugin, make sure to update it and test your site again.

I’ve made sure that all official plugins are the correct versions and then deactivated all the remaining ones but the problem still remained. Your further urgent help please.

Hi there,

You also mentioned about Visual Composer in the title but no information is given. I wonder what the Visual Composer has to do here.

Kindly open up a test page and using the Cornerstone add a Classic Section and then add the same essential grid element and see if it works on the test page.

To be able to add a Classic Section you need to click on the layouts tab and hold the CMD (MAC) CTRL (Windows) key to turn the add section to Add Classic Section:

See if it works, if yes then there might be a problem with V2 elements regarding the Essential Grids. You will need to wait for upcoming releases to have a fix regarding this or recreate the page in question using the CLassic Sections and element.
