Visual Composer bundled with theme not working

I updated Visual Composer to 5.2 forgetting that it was bundled in the X theme, and now it doesn’t work.
After doing research, I came across your compatibility chart and see that it needs to be version 5.0.1.

I deleted the 5.2 version, and installed the version that came with the theme - however that version is 5.1.1, and the site is still not working wherever it has been designed with VC.

Can you tell me why the version with the theme is not compatible, and where can I get version 5.0.1 from in order to make the site work?

Hi,

Yes you need to install 5.0.1

You can get the plugin from themeforest downloads.

From Downloads in your ThemeForest account, click Download next to X and choose: All Files & Documentation download from ThemeForest. Unzip, and you will find an extensions folder containing zips for all our Extensions.
