Validation error after child theme instal

I bought the Xtheme, Installed it onto my website and validated it,

I wanted a theme and downloaded a child theme onto the site, (not knowing it needed validation)

It then hit me with validation and i could not find out how to buy it.
I proceed to delete the child theme from my website but I still have the “needs validation” on my dashboard.

I would really like a refund or someone to fix this please.

Hi William,

Thanks for writing in! You only need to validate X or Pro themes and you don’t have to validate it’s child themes. In your case, if you don’t have any validation issues on your parent X theme (try disabling your child theme and see), most probably your child theme may have been corrupted.

I suggest you to delete your child theme and setup your child theme again by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-how-to-setup-child-themes/57).
