Updating from version 4 to version 6

Hi, I have to update a copy of x-theme from version 4 to version 6. Exactly from 4.4.1 to the latest version (6.4.6).

Do I have to pay any particular attention (a part from standard procedures)?

Thanks for asking.

Before updating I would suggest you to take a complete backup of the website. As you are going to update from a old version of X Theme, I suggest you to setup a staging server and test the update process over there. Let’s say any issue comes up, same can be looked at without affecting the live website. I am sharing some relevant resources to help you get started. Please take a look.
