Updating from Pro 1.2.3

Hi chaps!

I’m trying to update from Pro 1.2.3 to the latest version.

Currently when I try to “launch” from the Pro menu I get the spinning wheel and nothing else.

When I have tried to auto-update the footer and header areas aren’t accessible at all.

Is there a step that I need to take?

Hi Steve,

Thanks for writing in! I see that you’re using an older version of WordPress core as well (v4.8.7) and there are other outdated plugins.

First try to update your WordPress core to the latest version (4.9.8) by following their guide (https://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress). Since you’re using major Pro versions behind, you might have to update your Pro theme manually by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).

Then you should be able to validate your site if required and use automatic updates for the other outdated plugins as well.

All references on that KB thread you supplied are on X, and cornerstone, not pro.

Is that an issue?

I updated as per the manual instructions. The header and footer editor is loading but there are definitely issues. I have attached my login credentials if you want to take a look?

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! it turns out that you have installed Wp Fastest Cache plugin. I have cleared your plugin caches and regenerated the js/css files and it is all working now.

Please clear your browser cache first or use incognito mode and test your site again.
