Updated Cornerstone, now it's broken

I updated to the newest version of Cornerstone and X, but can’t seem to load cornerstone anymore. When I try to activate X it instead shows “loading” very large and tells me my session is expired (even though I just logged in). Additionally, it only shows plaintext and images, no CSS.
I’m pretty sure there’s also no Javascript running.

How can I fix this asap?

Hi there,

There is a coming soon page active on your site.

For the meantime, please make sure to check for the following first:

  • We’d recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP if you haven’t done so already. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:
    define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
    define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );
  • If the issue is still there, please make sure that you have everything updated to the latest version especially for X and Cornerstone. You can find more info about the support versions of X and its bundled plugins here.

  • If you are still seeing an issue, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how it goes!

I attempted this (it took me a while because I lost access to the server), but sadly, it does not fix the problem.

The cornerstone screen still looks like this:

Hi @OneTwo.Link,

I see a similar issue with the same look as your screenshot, and some of it is due to the plugin that extends or alters tinyMCE and upload features.

Would you mind providing your admin login credentials in a secure note for verification of the issue?

Thanks!

Of course.

Hey @OneTwo.Link,

I’m sorry but @Rad’s currently not available and I’m not sure what he wanted to verify.

But, there’s also another potential solution to this Sessions Expired issue and that is updating WordPress to the latest version. Please update WordPress and then check if the issue persists.

If that does not help, please allow us to do troubleshooting in your Live site. Please note that troubleshooting might temporarily affect your site’s operation and could break your site. For this reason, I always recommend that users copy their live site to a staging site so we can freely troubleshoot without fear of breaking anything. If you can’t do that, make sure you have a backup of your site.

Thanks.

Still no effect, after updating. You’re more than welcome to troubleshoot in the live site.

I check and wordpress still needs updating.
