Update WP, X-Theme, Plugins...?

Hi there,
Wordpress 5.0 is out and most website-people I know will leave the update till January (too many bugs still). Alright, no problem. But now X update is out, too, and a new version of Cornerstone and some other plugins.
I am not sure what to do now: are the new X and Cornerstone compatible with Wordpress 4.9? If I don’t update Wordpress right away, is it better to wait with the theme and Cornerstone (and plugin) updates as well?

Hi Karen,

Thanks for writing in! X/Pro themes are compatible with WordPress 4.9. However when you’re updating Cornerstone, you need to update X theme as well to it’s compatible version. You can check our changelog to see the latest X theme compatible Cornerstone version or vise versa (https://theme.co/changelog/) and then you can update X theme or Cornerstone accordingly (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).

Thank you very much! So I understand that the current X and Cornerstone updates are not tied to Wordpress 5.0. Thanks, I know how to proceed now :slight_smile:
