Update issues + WPML not working for certain pages

Hi there,

We have a site that is running fine on version 6.2.5. If I try to update to latest version, frontend stops working.

Apart from that, the biggest problem we currently have is that we are in the progress of implementing multi-language support on the site using WPML and some pages (not all!) don’t want to save, and the content doesn’t appear as translated on the front end.

At first we thought it was due to WPML, but after turning Cornerstone off or switching the theme - the WPML seems to works fine.

Here’s what it looks:

Tried disabling all the plugins except Cornerstone and WPML on a staging site with the latest version of X, but it still won’t save.

Can you please point us to the right direction with this?

Hey @simbex,

Are you using the latest compatible version of WPML? If so, please downgrade to the following versions. Additionally, if you’re using the String Translation and Translation Management plugins, you should downgrade them as well.

  • WPML Multilingual CMS - 4.0.6
  • WPML String Translation - 2.8.6
  • WPML Translation Management - 2.6.7

If that doesn’t fix the issue, please give us WordPress Admin access in a Secure Note
