Unable to access Theme X Pro editor

I have not been able to access the editor since I transferred my domain from GoDaddy to Bluehost. Please help.

I have spent more than an hour on the phone with Bluehost and they had to turn off the theme because it was causing issues. What do I do?

Hello @steve,

Thanks for asking. Did you only transfer the domain or both i.e hosting? Are you seeing any error message on browser console? I hope you followed the steps mentioned in our migration guide:

Thanks.

Only domain. I was already hosting with Bluehost.

Will I need to perform any of the steps above since it was just a domain change?

Hi There,

Please backup your website.

Install a plugin called: Better Search and Replace.

Search for your old domain and replace with the new one.

Once you have done that, go to your Apex license page assign your new URL.

https://theme.co/apex/licenses

Go to Wp-Admin > X and validate your theme again.

Let us know how it goes.

I was using the generic domain given by Bluehost. Since importing my dpmarketingsolutions.com domain I cannot find the old one. I contacted Bluehost and they do not know either. What should I do?

Hi there,

I think there was a misunderstanding. The plugin my colleague asked you to install and replace the old one with the new domain is for the cases which an image or a link is added to the pages using the Pro Editor.

Regarding the license, it is necessary to change to have access to the extensions but at this stage, it seems that you do not have access to Pro Editor at all.

Would you please kindly get back to us with the URL/User/Pass of your website so that we can take a look at the case and see why there is a problem accessing the editor?

Thank you.
