Uh Oh! Content Failed to Save - Aug 13

Hi Themeco team,

All of a sudden, my site (https://oafb.ca/impactreport) started to give me the “Uh Oh, Content Failed to Save” message after I tried to save some edits. This happened last week and I disabled a plug-in, which resolved the issue, but now it’s popping up again today apropos of nothing.

I have cleared my browser cache as well as X Theme’s style cache, validated my custom CSS, and tried disabling all plug-ins other than Cornerstone and Cornerstone Icons, and it doesn’t seem to make a difference (or does make a difference once, but then the same problem pops back up again immediately after).

If there is any assistance you can provide me, it would be much appreciated.

On my end Cornerstone is working fine and changes are getting saved without any issues. Please see following screencast.

Sorry, realized I didn’t delete the other test pages that I created a while ago. The page that is remaining (i.e. the front page) is the one that I’m having an issue with, and the error message is still coming up.

Hi Ashley,

Upon investigating your issue further, I see there couple of possible issues on your server configurations. One is that your PHP memory limit and the other one is your PHP max script execution time.

Can you please try increasing your PHP memory limit by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935). Currently it’s set to 256MiB.

If you’re still experiencing any issues, try increasing your PHP max script execution time to 120 or a higher value like 300. Currently it is set to 30 seconds. You can follow this article if required (https://www.simplified.guide/php/increase-max-execution-time).

Once you change those values, make sure to purge your server cache and clear your browser cache before testing.
