Typography and Inherit

I’m a bit confused about the ‘Inherit’ option in PRO…

1 - I made a Font Template called Headings Font with the Template Manager and set it to the ‘Playfair SC’ font.
2 - I then changed the font for headlines in the ‘Appearance>Theme Options>Typography>Headings’ panel to ‘Headings Font’ (the template).
3 - I then added a Headline element and set the font to Inherit. But the font is then displaying as the default font for the stack.

Doesn’t Inherit mean to use the font set in the Theme Options? Or is Inherit always the default font for the stack?

Hey @mikewolf1127,

The inherit option means it will inherit the body’s font family. Regretfully, you need to manually select the font family for now. The workflow might be easy soon with the Template Manager.
