Translation Bug Classic Feature List

Dear Support Team,

I have a issue on the englisch version of my site:
https://www.group-galore.com/?lang=en

The Classic Feature List is not centered comparing to the origin version (www.group-galore.com).

Thanks for a helping hand

Marc

Hello Marc,

I can see the issue and it is most probably html syntax error. Look for the content before the classic feature list. Check if there’s excess closing div </div>. Currently, those feature list is outside the section container. What makes it center is it’s container. Because of that excess closing div, the container close unexpectedly putting the feature list outside of it. See this difference in sctructure: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqXtoQUgZi

Hope this helps.

Hello Lely,

Thanks very much for this analysis!

How may I change this in WordPress. I do not get access to html content via the Pro Editor.

Best regards

Marc

Dear Lely,

There are obviously some more features missing after the WPML updates, e.g. the embedded vimeo videos are not available anymore.

Is there any possibility to book your service to fix these bugs?

Thanks

Marc

Hello Marc,

The orphaned </div> tag might have been added in one of the elements on the page. You will need to edit this page in Pro editor and look for it. If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/how-to-get-support/288

Regards.

Hi,

I just provided access. Maybe you could check the missing embedded video bug too?

Thanks very much

Hi @MarcNathmann,

Thank you for the credentials.
Upon checking, I have notice you didn’t use the content builder for the translation but rather translated it direct to WPML. Now, to access Homepage on English and find the culprit, please go to Pages, click those icon:

The video isn’t there at all on the translated page. You can access there too.

In case that would be too much for you to look and hard to find the incorrect html on the translation, what we can suggest is translate it using the builder. Try the following step.
1.) Open current home page using the builder. Save it as template.
2.) Create a new page. Load the homepage template here.
3.) On the lower right part of this new page, you can see an option to translate. Click the English language icon

4.) It will then give you this option to translate. Choose copy existing.

5.) Then translate the content as needed. After translation is set, please set this new page as your new homepage.

Hope this helps.
