Three Columns in Background, Underneath a Row

Hi there,

I’m using Pro 2.4.2 on WP 5.0.2.

Is there a way to have a three-column layout sit underneath a row? I’d like to have a full-width row split into three columns, each with a background image. But then within that row, I’d like to have text and headline elements that span across all three columns. This is a layered solution that I’m not sure how to accomplish in Pro.

I’m accomplishing something similar now by using a single image that I’ve designed with three column, set as a background image on the row itself; see below.

But the three “columns” within this single image of course do not dynamically resize for mobile.

Is there a way to create a three-column layout with a full-with row sitting on top?

Hi @dm3,

Thanks for reaching out.

It’s doable with absolute positioning and custom CSS, but it’s not going to be responsive. I recommend using revolution slider to range images and text layers. Please check this https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-revolution-slider/71, https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/layer-styles-positioning/.

Or, you can simply make the 3 images as one single background of your section where the texts are present. Like what you currently have now.

Unfortunately, layering a layout isn’t possible with Pro as of now.

Thanks!
